Kathleen graduated from McGill University in 1989 with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and received the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Award for that year.
She completed her Advanced Orthopaedic Manual Therapy levels in 1996 and is a Fellow of the Academy of Manipulative Therapy. She has worked in both Quebec and Ontario.
From 2003 until 2013 Kathleen worked with LifeMark Health, Physiotherapy on Bay, as the Clinic Director and the Clinical Services Leader for Ontario. As part of this role she has helped develop Clinical Excellence Programs for the LifeMark Ontario Region through developing a Mentorship Program for Ontario, and by ensuring an active role in student education at the clinics with their University affiliates.
In 2013 Kathleen started In Balance Physiotherapy and currently is working to expand the clinic in the area of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Pelvic Rehabilitation and Vestibular Rehabilitation
Kathleen speaks at both professional and public conferences on the role of the physiotherapist in treatment of the above conditions. She also is certified as a Vestibular Rehabilitation physiotherapist and has completed the competency course offered at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
