Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy will assess your body and determine your range of motion and your strength. They will determine the source of your pain and provide you with a treatment plan. The treatment plan can consist of: manual therapy - joint mobilization and manipulation to decrease pain and increase range of motion, exercise therapy - exercises prescribed specifically for you to decrease your pain, strengthen your muscles and correct any muscle imbalance you may have, pain modalities - this would include IFC, TENS, LASER, acupuncture and trigger point dry needling. Physiotherapy is appropriate for you if you suffer from a work related injury, a motor vehicle accident, a sports injury, a concussion, you have postural pain, osteoarthritis, pregnancy and post-partum, or you are recovering from an orthopaedic surgery.
